What's already happening: The City of Seattle's, Restore Our Waters Initiative, is our commitment to providing reliable services while protecting the environment. We are doing projects and creating partnerships that help slow the flow of stormwater runoff form paved surfaces; prevent pollution from entering our local waters; and restoring habitat that is critical for salmon and other wildlife. Our approach is both traditional and using natural drainage systems. Together, residents of the City are working to improve the health of Puget Sound.
