What's already happening: Pierce County Surface Water Management Division, a division of Public Works and Utilities, works to improve water quality that flows into storm drains and ditches and directly into streams, wetlands, lakes, and Puget Sound. Our mission is to be a responsive service organization that efficiently addresses flood control, water quality, and the preservation of natural drainage systems.
